Shockwaves pitches itself as an ambitious blend of AI agents, 8v8 shooter combat, and a $Neuros-driven play-and-earn economy built to “democratize e-sport.” The site hypes collectible AI pilots, weapon NFTs, loot boxes, staking perks, and a roadmap that stretches from Elixir listings to an eventual Epic Store release, all wrapped in a neon-soaked vision of customizable mechs fighting for on-chain rewards. It’s a big promise: own your gear, stake your tokens, and let artificial teammates grind tournaments on your behalf.

But in practice, the current web build barely reflects those features. The playable browser version is a lightweight prototype that offers none of the AI-agent management, staking hooks, or loot-box mechanics described in the marketing copy—it’s essentially a simple shooter slice without the economic, social layers that supposedly make Shockwaves unique or the shooter functionality itself. Until the full client lands, treat the website’s grand vision as a roadmap rather than a reflection of what you can actually experience online today.
