Conkis

Conkis is a competitive, free-to-play turn-based tactical strategy game set in a medieval fantasy world. Players command armies of distinct units, such as Knights, Archers and Axemen, on a grid-based battlefield, utilizing a deck of cards to enhance their strategies during combat. The gameplay draws inspiration from chess and the Age of Empires series, focusing on deterministic mechanics where players aim to capture flags or annihilate enemy forces. The game features an ELO ranking system and plans for multiplayer modes including 2v2 and 3v3 queues. While currently in a beta phase, the project integrates blockchain technology through optional NFT cards and a token economy, allowing players to own and trade in-game assets on third-party markets.
