SuperTripLand Keeps Minting on Abstract as Pudgy World’s Maker Closes It
Does SuperTripLand have a token? No. But on the 12th of October 2026, 20,475 wallets held its items on Abstract, which closes on the 15th of December 2026.
Abstract, the blockchain built by Pudgy Penguins’ parent company Igloo Inc., will shut down on the 15th of December 2026. Abstract announced the closure on X on the 6th of October 2026. It said funds not moved off the chain by that date would become inaccessible. [1] On the 23rd of April 2026, SuperTripLand said it was officially launching on Abstract. It promised new features on Abstract in the weeks after. [2] Since the announcement, SuperTripLand has added 604 new items to its collection on Abstract, sent to 254 wallets. By the 12th of October 2026, 20,475 wallets held its items there, Abscan, the chain’s block explorer, shows. [3] There is no information yet on whether SuperTripLand will move those items before the chain closes.
The chain will shut down on December 15th, 2026, any funds not bridged by this date will be inaccessible.[1]

In the coming weeks, we will be rolling out wagered PvP matches, ABS skins and crates, and many very addictive and rewarding mechanics.[2]
In the game SuperTripLand, a first-person view shows a large golden coin with a sun-like face in motion against an industrial setting featuring a roofed structure and palm trees.
No. CoinGecko, which tracks crypto prices, lists no SuperTripLand token. [4] The game’s money is Tripcoin, an in-game currency. Players who hold collectibles called Supertrippies get perks, such as exclusive skins and better earning rates in Tripcoin. Players need no wallet for the full game, and only cosmetics use the blockchain. [5]
No wallet connection is needed to play the game in full, and the blockchain mechanics attach solely to cosmetics.[5]

Those cosmetics sit on two blockchains. The rarest items, called Mythical, are NFTs on Ethereum and are bought with ETH. [5] A collection of 20 SuperTripLand characters was made on Ethereum in August 2021, its OpenSea page shows. [6] SuperTripLand also has a collection of items on Abstract, created on the 28th of April 2026. [3]
What SuperTripLand has said
SuperTripLand has not posted on X since Abstract announced its closure on the 6th of October 2026. Its last posts, in September 2026, promoted a loot box for Robinhood instead. On the 17th of September 2026, it said crates of gun skins were coming to Robinhood. It said the skins would be backed by tokenized stocks, blockchain versions of shares in companies listed in New York. [7] It gave no date, and said nothing about the items players hold on Abstract.
More on the story
Other games on Abstract had already made plans to leave. Yield Guild Games closed YGG Play, its game platform. It said it would remove the pool where people swap YGG for ETH on Abstract on the 9th of October 2026. [8] Pudgy World, a Pudgy Penguins game, keeps its players’ items on Abstract, and there is no information yet on what happens to them. [9] Gigaverse and Cambria had already announced new games for other chains, Gigaverse Online and Cambria Genesis. [10]
They clearly knew of Igloo’s plan as they already had announced their new games Gigaverse Online and Cambria Genesis will launch on other chains.[10]
Jon Jordan, BlockchainGamerBiz, the 9th of October 2026
Igloo said it had lost tens of millions of dollars over two years keeping Abstract running. [11] Abstract said its team would help projects on the chain move to other chains. [1]
Holders have until the chain closes to move their items. Abstract said they could move them through its Migration Hub or its native bridge, which has a 3-hour delay. It also warned about fake migration sites and DMs claiming to be Abstract, and told users to use only its official links. [1]
