MIR4 Goes Dark for July 8th Maintenance

MIR4 goes dark July 8 for maintenance after bug complaints and token uncertainty.

Steam announced on July 7, 2026 that MIR4 will undergo temporary maintenance on July 8th [1]. In an earlier post, @mir4xdraco dropped a teaser for their website wemixplay. com, all excited about WEMIX 3. 0 launching on July 1st, 2022 with ambassador Yoon-young Choi [2]. That post was on May 27th, 2022 – 1502 days ago – and they’ve been super quiet since.

Visual Art Direction

Let’s check out the visuals. The combat in Mir4 is pretty slick, not gonna lie. Every attack has its own color cyan lightning, fiery orange explosions, deep purple glows. The characters have sharp costumes. The skill effects pop against the backgrounds. The worlds are super varied too. You get sunny grasslands and torch-lit caves. Blue spell light and warm firelight make everything look cinematic. And the bosses? They’re huge and dramatic, with glowing auras and ground signals. They actually feel like real threats, which is a nice touch for the vibe.

Cool blue spells clash with warm firelight in every cave.

Player Sentiment Divided

Let’s take a look at what people are saying about Mir4 Global. But not everything about the game is sunshine and rainbows [3]. Fans note many complaints. Cheaters and bots are everywhere. Pay-to-win ruins fair play. And purchases sometimes vanish [4]. Fans are torn. Some enjoy the classic grind like old RPGs. Others call it repetitive and a time sink [5].

Our shill detection shows that a few short, vague, or suspiciously positive reviews with no gameplay specifics stand out as potential shilling. But the majority appear genuine. [6]

… it feels like a mobile game (a…. bad one) …

Here’s how the token has been moving. EXTRA4 (often written as EXDRA4 or EXD4) is the core seasonal utility token for the game MIR4, which operates natively on the WEMIX blockchain. We can’t track EXTRA4, so let’s take a look at WEMIX instead. WEMIX was kinda mid, climbing a bit while other gaming tokens took off way faster. After the big game news came out, WEMIX finally caught up a little. But honestly, the numbers aren’t great.

MIR4 Maintenance Announced

Enough number-crunching, here’s the story everyone’s buzzing about. MIR4 is taking a nap on July 8th. The folks at Wemade are shutting down the servers for some scheduled maintenance. Players will have to find something else to do for a while. No exact downtime was given, but these things usually take a few hours. Grab a snack. Maybe touch some grass. Or just stare at the wall contemplating your life choices. Whatever works.

This is the kind of boring-but-necessary stuff that keeps the game from turning into a total mess. Some players have grumbled about bugs and issues before. One reviewer called the opening laughably bad and noted the game struggles on both mobile and PC [7]. Another player straight up called it garbage. They warned people to stay away because of fullscreen and autoplay problems. Wemade says they’re trying to fix things with this maintenance, but let’s be real they’ve been saying that for years, and the game still has huge problems. Hopefully they’ll iron out some of those kinks, but don’t hold your breath. And maybe, just maybe, make the game less of a headache for everyone.

Either way, mark your calendars for July 8th if you’re still grinding in MIR4. The servers will be back before you know it. Then you can get back to battling and whatever else you do in this weird NFT fueled MMORPG. Fingers crossed they fix the good stuff, but honestly, it’s a bit sus if they actually will.
