TRM Labs is a firm that traces crypto payments. It says an attacker took about $6.36 billion in crypto from the exchange Binance on the 29th of October 2026. It links the attack to TraderTraitor, which it calls North Korea’s elite hacking unit. [1]

Etherscan, a site that shows every transaction on the Ethereum blockchain, records 6,525,851.92 SUPER among the tokens taken from Binance on Ethereum. They left a Binance hot wallet at 20:24 UTC that day. A hot wallet is an exchange wallet kept online so it can pay out withdrawals fast. [2] The attacker’s wallet sold all of that SUPER between 02:37 and 02:59 UTC on the 30th of October 2026. It made 16 trades on Uniswap, an exchange run by software on the blockchain instead of a company. [3] The wallet got 401.95 ether (ETH), the Ethereum network’s own coin, for the SUPER. [4]

Between the 28th and the 29th of October 2026, the day of the Binance hack, SUPER fell 8.5%, from $0.1828 to $0.1673. The sale came hours later. On CoinGecko, SUPER traded at $0.16114 at 02:35 UTC on the 30th of October 2026 and at $0.13875 at 03:00 UTC. By 13:00 UTC it was back at $0.16059. [5]

Daily closes for SUPER over the 30 days to the 29th of October 2026, with the swing envelope.

What the token actually does

SUPER is used for payments and to vote on SuperVerse’s proposals. [6] Holders can also stake SUPER, which means placing it in SuperVerse’s staking contract, to earn rewards paid in ETH. [7]

SuperVerse says the rewards its staking site shows are estimates. They may change with every new block of transactions. [8] People in the United States and some other countries may not use the platform. [9]

SuperVerse says SUPER is being added to web3 games. Its website lists Pixels, Guild of Guardians and Off The Grid among them. [10]

More on the story

Binance said on the 30th of October 2026 that it had set aside more than $6.34 billion of its own money to cover the losses. It already held $5 billion of that in the same tokens that were taken, and was buying the rest on exchanges and in private deals. About $3 billion of the stolen funds had been frozen by then. [11]

This step can take longer because some tokens may have low liquidity and OTC settlement also takes time. [11]

Yi He, a Binance co-founder, said the same day that Binance was buying every stolen altcoin in fully matching amounts. In her post, altcoins are the stolen coins other than bitcoin and ether. [12] There is no information yet on whether Binance has bought SUPER.

Every SUPER transfer through the attacker's wallet, from the theft from Binance at the bottom to the 16 sales into Uniswap pools above it (Etherscan, the 30th of October 2026)

The SUPER the attacker sold went into two Uniswap pools. A pool is a shared stock of two tokens that traders swap between. The pool that took most of the sales held 9,484,767 SUPER before the first sale and 10,659,748 after the last one. By 13:45 UTC on the 30th of October 2026, it held 9,479,736 again, as traders bought SUPER out of it. [4]

SuperVerse’s last post on X was on the 19th of October 2026. It had posted nothing about the hack by 13:45 UTC on the 30th of October 2026. [13]
