Wild Forest says it ranks among Ronin's top games, but App Store and Google Play players report crashes, wallet login failures and unfair matchmaking.
Wild Forest, the free-to-play real-time strategy (RTS) game on the Ronin blockchain, says it is earning a place among Ronin’s top projects. In an October 13, 2026 post on X, the team pointed to real gameplay, competitive PvP and a community that keeps showing up [1]. The post gave no player counts or other figures to back that up. The last hard number came in late March, when the studio shared a ranking of Ronin’s most engaged games. Wild Forest placed fourth with 532 unique active wallets (UAW), behind Lumiterra, Pixels and Axie Infinity [2]. Around the same time, it promoted a limited-time Wild Pass discount from $5.99 to $0.99 [3]. Without fresh numbers, the top-project claim is still the studio’s own description.

Whatever you make of the studio’s claims, Wild Forest is fun to look at. The bright, cartoony art plays out from a tilted isometric camera, with animal characters in their own outfits walking past whimsical buildings. The playful vibe reminds me of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, which also leans on a cute animal cast. It stays charming and polished throughout.
Glowing buildings and dense forests bring Wild Forest’s isometric world to life.

So what do players think of Wild Forest? The art gets the most love. Some Google Play reviewers praise the bright graphics, the cute animal units and the strategy battles, and one calls the creativity “magnificent” [4]. The mood sours once the bugs show up. Players on Google Play and the App Store report crashes in the middle of matches [4][5], and some can’t log in with their Ronin wallet at all [4]. App Store reviewers also complain about unfair matchmaking [5]. Opinions stay mixed. Some fans think the fun is worth the bugs, while others see the crypto wallet link as a red flag [4].
Our shill detection, which checks for fake or paid praise, found that most reviews describe specific crashes, login failures or matchmaking problems. A small group of short, generic 5-star reviews and promotional web3 comments lack any gameplay detail [6].

Here is how the Wild Forest token (WF) has moved around the announcement. WF had been on a long climb and was still rising when the post went out, though it has slipped over the past day.

Now for the news itself. The Wild Forest team says the game is earning its place among Ronin’s top projects, but the post leans on slogans rather than numbers. “The Forest keeps growing,” it says, pointing to competitive PvP, while the account’s X bio adds fast-paced battles, an open economy and NFT rewards to the pitch [1].
One fan in the replies asked the team to “Please ship moar” and praised the fast-paced action [7]. App Store players keep reporting bugs in Wild Forest, though [5], and one Google Play reviewer couldn’t get past the login screen [4].
Some players are hooked anyway. One TapTap reviewer called it “Finally a True strategy RTS game for android” [8], and that kind of buzz is hard to ignore.
The community numbers are mixed too. Wild Forest’s Telegram announcement channel lost about 50 subscribers over the past month and now has 1,220, while its YouTube channel has 34,350 total views.
Wild Forest’s whitepaper describes it as a single-screen RTS in which two players capture territory, build structures and armies, and try to destroy each other’s main base. Each player brings a deck of up to seven units, and a wave-based Survival Mode covers PvE [9]. The $WF token pays for unit rank-ups, the premium Battle Pass and NFT mints [10], and players need a Wild Pass to earn it [11].
Ronin’s documentation describes the network as an Ethereum L2 built for gamified experiences, launched by Sky Mavis, the creator of Axie Infinity [12]. Wild Forest is free to play on iOS and Android, and on Windows and Mac through the Epic Games Store [13].
